A former fashion magazine editor, Seiko launched the jewelry brand atelier ST,CAT in 2014. As president, she balances brand management with motherhood, raising three children while contributing regular columns to online media outlets.

I navigate both professional and personal spheres throughout the day, so I don't style myself differently between work mode and off mode. That said, on days when I need my laptop, I naturally gravitate toward larger totes I can comfortably carry over my shoulder.
What makes the Maraison Tote so lovely is its jewelry-like buckle—a glamorous accent within a minimalist design. It was also fun to pair the bag with the jewelry on my wrist. My wardrobe is primarily monochrome. I often opt for black, but I like to wear white for first-time introductions or slightly more glamorous events, like receptions. I gravitate toward garments with a soft, lustrous quality—like today's outfit. This bag's sharp, clean-cut design grounds my look with structure and polish.

When people hear that I have three children and run a business, they might assume I carry a lot around—but I still love small bags just as much. For this look, I wanted to highlight the airy lightness of the Maraison 2-Way Mini Tote. I paired it with a long ribbed dress for a relaxed aesthetic and added a satin jacket to pull the whole outfit together with a touch of glamour.
This White Sand shade features a subtle greige undertone, so it pairs beautifully with my favorite monochrome outfits without creating too stark a contrast. Another plus is that, because it's not pure white, I can use it without worrying too much about dirt or color transfer. When it comes to jewelry and hardware, I don't stick to matching metals—I actually prefer to mix gold and silver. I think it’s more fun.
